Terms of service
Bookings:
- Creative sessions must be booked and paid upfront, but walk ins on the day are also available.
- Holiday camps must be booked and paid upfront.
- Bookings are based on a first-come, first-served basis and are secured once payment has been received.
- As soon as sessions become full, new enquiries will be placed on a waiting list. As such, please note that you cannot share or sell your place to another child/parent.
- Please note, if you book a session with us, you will be added to our mailing list.
We email updates from time to time to let you know what's on at the Studio Art Cafe. You can unsubscribe at anytime, please follow the 'unsubscribe' link at the end of any of the newsletter emails you receive from us.
Attending Creative Sessions:
- Please let us know when attending Studio Art Cafe if you or your child will be suffering from an illness. This is your responsibility.
- All work created at our sessions/holiday camps must be taken home unless told otherwise.
Parents’ conduct:
- Children over 12 years old are able to join our sessions unsupervised. We would kindly ask parents to leave their children at drop-off with further details and emergency contact information.
- For children under 12 years we would ask parents or carers to stay during the session. We find that the classes work best when your child has your support when needed in projects. If you join in your child is more likely to join in.
- It is the parent’s responsibility to tell us when attending Studio Art Cafe that neither the child nor carer will be suffering from any illness or infectious disease.
- Please inform us of any allergies, this should be to a member of Studio Art Cafe staff as we often provide juice, biscuits & snacks.
- Children must be collected by a known adult at the end of the session/holiday camps. Please bring proof of ID and check pick up times to arrive on time.
- Parents and carers must complete a registration form for each child before the session/holiday camps, leaving a contact number and medical information.
- All work created by the child must be taken home unless told otherwise.
Clothing:
Please be aware that we can get very messy so please dress yourself and your children appropriately! We do try to use water-based products as much as possible. We have aprons available, please bring your own if you wish. Studio Art Cafe takes no responsibility for damage to clothing.
Complaints procedure:
We are committed to providing sessions which meet or exceed your expectations enough to recommend Studio Art Cafe to all of your friends. If you are unhappy with anything about the sessions, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. We will always do our best to resolve any problems.
Photos and videos:
We will occasionally ask to take photographs and video footage of you and your children. We sometimes use such images for the purpose of promoting Studio Art Cafe services. Please inform us immediately if you do not wish us to use such images and footage in this way. By signing the registration form without informing us that you do not wish your child to be photographed or filmed, you give us permission to use images and footage in our publicity materials.
