About our Creative Sessions
Here at Studio Art Cafe Putney, we offer a wide range of creative sessions. From 3 year-olds to adults. We believe in the importance of expressing ourselves creatively, freeing our imaginations and most of all, having fun! Whether you are a seasoned artist or a fresh explorer, our diverse creative sessions cater to all abilities.
Our creative therapist kicks off each session to inspire you, and then you are free to embark on the creative session by yourself. Join us and step into the world of fun artistic expression.
1. Sip, Paint & Create Workshop
Join us for two hours of paint, brushes, snacks, music and fun! A workshop for those who want to feel like a painter for once and for those who like to socialise while sipping creatively. Perfect as a first blind date or as an alternative activity to do with your best friends, but why not, also perfect for those who want to meet new and interesting people!
In these two hours, you will have a design to start from and all the materials you need to create your masterpiece.
No experience is required and you will be followed by an illustrator for best tips and tricks. We have a fully stocked bar, ensuring you have the perfect drink to accompany your artistic evening.
The only thing required is to bring POSITIVE VIBES to the workshop because we are here to have FUN creating something unique!
And what's a creative gathering without some delectable treats? Indulge in complimentary nibbles & free drink!

2. 3D Mixed Media Workshop
Explore the world of Mixed 3D Media Art in our sessions designed to promote mindfulness and present-moment awareness. Our workshops offer a creative space where participants delve into various art techniques and materials, crafting unique pieces that reflect their individuality.
During the session, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with a blend of mediums, including painting, collage, and sculpture, among others. Working with diverse materials such as fabric, paper, found objects, and textures adds depth and visual interest to your artwork, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in its layers.
In preparation for the session, we encourage you to share a picture of your choice 48 hours in advance. This image will serve as the foundation for your 3D artwork, allowing you to infuse personal significance into your creation through the painting process.
Join us for an experience that fosters relaxation, creativity, and self-expression. Our mixed media art sessions provide a unique opportunity to unwind and connect with the present moment while indulging in artistic exploration.

3. Acrylic Flow Painting Session
Unleash your inner artist with our Acrylic Flow Painting session. Explore vibrant colors and express your creativity on canvas. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned painter, this creative session is a super fun experience for young and old! Please note that this fun session can get a bit messy, so we would recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting splattered. All the necessary art supplies will be provided by us so all you need to bring is yourself!

4. Fluid Bear Session
Dive into the fascinating world of Fluid Bear, where art meets science! Discover the mesmerizing process of creating stunning fluid art with unique bear themed designs. We pour coloured paints onto a bear so you can leave with work of 3D art. The special art form is very popular on TikTok and now Studio Art Cafe brings this amazing experience to you.
This is the perfect thing to do as a family as children like these pouring bears. It's also suitable as a team-building activity and kids' birthday parties too.
We keep the bears for 3 days in our studio to properly dry and will call you up when it’s ready to collect. Delivery is also possible however, delivery costs will be charged separately.

5. Phone Case Decoration Session
Customise your world with our Cream Gel Phone Case Decoration Session. Personalize your phone case to reflect your style and personality. With this session, you will get a taste of the oh-so-delicious, but unfortunately inedible whipped cream style of decoration known as Decoden. You will start out by designing your decoration in stencil before jumping right into the piping process. From here, you’ll choose two colours and begin bringing your design to life in glorious 3D. We provide all the glitter, charms and sprinkles you need to make your tasty-looking creation to shine as bright as you wish. This lovely session combines fun and creativity for a memorable experience.

We offer a carefully curated collection of innovative bead materials, providing endless possibilities for creating glass beads bracelets and necklaces

10. Frame it UP Decoration Session
Make memories even more special with our Photo Frame Decoration session. Design and decorate photo frames for your cherished moments and add a touch of creativity to your living space. In this session, you craft your own wooden picture frame. All materials such as cream gel, charms, and small decorative pieces will be provided, to make your frame truly special.

11. Mindful Minis Meets Session (from 2+ year to 4)
Boost your pre-school child's readiness for school through a unique blend of creativity and skill development in our School Readiness Groups, expertly guided by a creatieve therapist.
Immerse your child in:

- Creative sessions to enhance cognitive abilities
